BBC News Friday: WWII bag returned to family of soldier

A cool story from the BBC news site, a tourist guide in Egypt found an old WWII satchel, he traveled to England after finding the family of the soldier who owned the bag. He returned the bag to the family and it contained some personal letters and effects.

I like cool stories like this with long forgotten items finding their way back to their owners. Great for the guide to go to those lengths to return the bag also.

That is a really a neat story. Its good to know that the gentleman took it to the family, rather than use it for his personal gain. I am sure that it is a welcome addition in that family and will remind them of their brave son. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers.
