BBC News Friday:
A story I have seen on various news sites, a couple in England had their wedding annulled recently. Shortly after getting married they discovered they were actually brother and sister. Apparently they were twins separated at birth and had no idea they were related, kinda sucks.

In another BBC News story is an octopus who has a Mr. Potato Heads toy as enrichment. Louis the octopus gets excited at the sight of Mr. Potato head and plays with the toy for up to an hour at the time. It was decided the toy would be ideal enrichment for the octopus.

BBC News Friday: A woman driver was banned from driving in the UK for driving too slow. Apparently she was caught doing 10mph and slower on the motorway, where the speed limit is 70mph.
She has been treated for fear of driver for over three years. Maybe it is time she gave it up and stopped being a hazard to other drivers.

Banned for farting
Filed Under BBC News | 5 Comments
Checking BBC News site this morning, came across article about pensioner in the UK who was banned from a social club because of his flatulence.
Come one! they’re all seniors, they probably all fart like crazy. I bet they just all blame it on this guy and he gets banned.
The guy doesn’t seem too worried and said:
“I am happy to oblige them, there is no problem. I do get a bit windy - I am an old fart now.”
Guess I wouldn’t be welcome at that club
Especially as I can get a bit rank whereas this guy is just loud:
“I think someone has complained about the noise. I am a loud farter, but there is no smell.”

BBC News - Guy shoots tire
Filed Under BBC News, well I never! | 2 Comments
Perusing the BBC New website as I am wont to do of a morning when I am meant to be working, found a story about a guy from Washington State (go figure). He was having trouble with a nut on one of his wheels of his car. He for some reason decided to blast it with a shotgun to see if he could loosen it.
Dumbass!
Any wonder he gets hits by pellets and debris ricocheting off the wheel.

Vodka on an IV drip
Filed Under BBC News | 4 Comments
Saw a BBC News article about an Italian tourist in Australia being kept alive by having vodka administered by an IV drip. The tourist had taken poison and the vodka was used when medicinal alcohol ran out.
The guy was fed three standard drinks an hour for three days.
When he is well he is going to be pissed, three days of quality drinking missed out on and not even a hangover.

BBC News had an article about the possibility of a suit that would allow the user to have Spider-man abilities. Climbing up buildings and be able to hang upside down suspended from the building.
Apparently the idea is based on spiders and geckos that have tiny hairs on their appendages that allow them to climb vertical surfaces. Geckos can apparently hold hundred times their own body weight.
Using a similar technology they reckon they may one day have the ability to allow a person to climb walls, one use mentioned is window cleaning on skyscrapers!
The problem is being able to have a technology able not to only to allow a man to stick to the wall and hold his own weight but to be able to remove his limbs and then reapply them and climb.
BBC News article spider-man suit.
Be interesting to see if this ever becomes a reality. It is going to have to be awesome to be able to allow someone to scale a building to clean windows.
