Time for another of my Dad’s pieces, this time I decided to pick something other than his Animal Dances.
This piece is called The Flight of Strix1 and was previously published in 1995 in Poets Parade by Avon Books.

Tiger Tarantella by Mick (with English spelling).
Beware the Tiger when he’s in a dancing mood, for his
partner could just end up being food.
If you have the strength,keep him at arms length, for
the Tiger’s quite a fella when he does the Tarantella.
