I am doing the happy dance, “I am on vacation, I am on vacation.” Took the week off to decompress and for stress relief. Been a while since I have taken a whole block of work off. Hoping to get some things around the house done and get office sorted out.

Anyhoo, I’m off to do some errands and I’ll take my Moleskine in case anything occurs for the blog.

I have mentioned that I joined Winzy, it is a service where you can win points towards entries into a sweepstakes each month and prizes like iPods and Amazon gift certificates. Free to join and all you do is use their page to do your internet searches to win points. As you go you get prize pages pop up where you can spin and win points and prizes. At month end all your points are put into the sweepstakes, using it a month I just had close to 15,000 points, giving me that many entries.

You can promote it and when your friends join you get points and when they win points and prizes you win them too. Always like the chance to win stuff, you don’t have to buy anything and as you likely search for stuff on the internet anyway.

Sitting on the bus I had my cell phone out and was switching it from vibrate to ring, a girl got on the bus she seems stoned and out of it. I dropped th phone into my messenger bag and my stop was fast approaching. I heard the girl asking other passengers if they had a cell phone she could use.

I make the point of not lending my phone out and as my stop was approaching i didn’t someone to start using it then having to grab it off them while I got off the bus. She came up besides me and asked if I had a phone she could borrow, I said I didn’t. I thought, crap now I know what will happen.

I got up to get off the bus and as I thought my wife text messages me, my phone now off vibrate starts ringing, I can feel the girl’s eyes burning into my back, oh well! Least it didn’t happen while I was sitting there telling the girl i didn’t have a phone.
Was I bad?

In other news, I am currently reading Lunar Park by Bret Easton Ellis, I found it easier to get into than some of his other books.
