Yesterday night we went out to grand daughter Aurianna’s graduation, all proud we were and they are growing up fast. While sitting in auditorium waiting Alec her younger brother asked me to take a picture of the “Creepy man monster” climbing over a lighting gantry above our heads.
I looked up and snapped a picture, everyone else was wondering what on earth we were looking at, but we were having fun seeing the monster.

The B sammich

Well, what with contaminated lettuce and now tomatoes being recalled, my favorite BLT sammich is looking a bit sparse, a B Sammich.
As David Letterman just said, “Who knew the healthiest part of a BLT sandwich would be the bacon!”

Overheard conversation at bus stop

Waiting for a bus today and guy walks up and sees a woman standing next to me he obviously knows.
Man: “Hey how you doing?”
Woman: “Fine thanks.”
Man: “How’s the housing situation.”
Woman: “Not bad, I’m on the waiting list, it is a long list. They want me to volunteer to work though.”
Man: “What, you don’t like work?”
Woman: “I’m on strike.”
Huh?
Man: “You don’t get anywhere or anything in this life if you don’t work.”
Woman: “That’s why I am on strike.”
wtf?
Man: I like working, paying my own rent, shopping for stuff spending money.”
Woman: “Yeah it’s all political.”
Double wtf?
Dang, lady, what you want to sit back and have everything handed to you on a plate? Some people!

Watch

I’ve been looking at watches again, various brands, Seiko, Citizen, Timex and Sector watches, I rarely get to buy a replacement battery for my watches. I usually get fed up looking at the same watch and get a new one before the battery runs out. I have had all sorts of watches in all prices ranges. I think nothing on going to one of those wheeled carts in the mall and getting a watch for ten bucks.
I have always wanted to get myself a stainless steel Rolex Submariner , I have come close to getting one but each time spent the money on something else, this last time I got the laptop and accessories instead. I think although the Rolex would be nice but I’d be paranoid about scratching it or dinging it in some way wearing it everyday.

What is that effing noise?

I’m sitting here at the computer and I realized that over the TV I can hear water bubbling wtf. I got up and checked the vanity sink then went into the bathroom to check the tub and toilet, nope nothing there.
I then mute the TV and can hear the sound coming from Carolyn’s desk, her computer screen is blank but her computer is on. I tap the space bar and her screen saver is on, a realistic fish tank with fish swimming around and the sound of the tank water filter bubbling away!

Hilton Head

Hilton Head rentals, sorry had to say it, Hilton Head who came up with that for a name for a holiday destination?
Conjures up certain mental images, or maybe that’s just me!
I see Miss Hilton splayed across a chaise lounge with a long line of sweaty gits standing in line with handfuls of dollar bills. My bad, but of course this is just a mental aberration on my part and now I can’t get it outta my mind Arghhh.

This link takes you to a site where there are some awesome pictures of various companies office spaces. I have seen the Google pictures before but some of the others are awesome. I think it would be very cool to work in such environments.

With great trepidation I decided to upgrade my WordPress version as I was still on an early release, my newer blogs are all later versions. So with bated breath I upgraded, put in the latest theme and plugins.
Still quite as I’d like a few tweaks to do and make sure things are working correctly, maybe time to look for a new theme.
So if things look a little off then that means I am messing with plugins and whatnot.
At least I didn’t kill my laptop, last time I messed with the computer and software I killed my Sony desktop PC.
